The Journey That Prepared Me<\/h2>\n
My real life began in 2012 when I said goodbye to what everyone saw as perfect: the house, the marriage, the respectable academic career. From the outside, everything seemed ideal. Inside, I was dying. <\/p>\n
That choice to honor my body’s wisdom over society’s script opened a decade of exploration that would eventually bring me here – to guiding others through areas of intimate transformation that conventional approaches can never achieve.<\/p>\n
I embraced polyamory in 2016 to be able to support my partner when she discovered that her body and soul were not made to conform to the expectations of our society. And to be able to fully live out my own sexuality. <\/span><\/p>\n That journey – from letting go of “shoulds” to embracing what is TRUE – taught me things that no training can give. I discovered what happens when you can no longer hide behind masks. When every relationship requires you to fully show up with both your best and ugliest sides, communicate your truth, feel your body’s yes and no with absolute clarity. <\/span><\/p>\n This was love. This was courage. Exactly that became my greatest gift in this work – I understand from the inside how it feels when mainstream narratives about intimacy and relationships don’t fit who you are. <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span>In 2019, I found tantra, trained intensively with Dr. Jonathan Beger and other recognized European masters in somatic therapy, conscious intimacy and de-armouring. These trainings gave me tools. <\/span>My lived experience gave me the ability to FEEL what someone needs. <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span>Shibari first called me in 2015, but it wasn’t until 2022 that I discovered what rope could really do. Some bodies cannot relax for conventional body therapy – the protection is too strong. But tied down, safely secured in a web of tension and support, the rope creates a space where the body finally releases what the head never could. <\/span><\/p>\n EveryBODY is welcome to Studio ES.<\/strong> Not as a slogan, but as a lived truth. Every body, every identity, every form of love. <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span>But not everyone is ready. This work requires a willingness to feel, to take off masks, to let your body speak. It’s the same voice that keeps you small at work. The difficulty with receiving pleasure? It appears as difficulty receiving compliments, help or success. <\/p>\n I know when distance is the problem, not the solution.<\/strong> Sometimes you need more than insight and understanding. You need new experiences that give your body a different reference point. Working with imprinting means that I am constantly checking: Is this what YOU need, or what my preferences suggest? This responsibility is sacred. <\/p>\n I fully trust the wisdom of the body.<\/strong> Your body knows what your head has forgotten. It knows what has happened, what you need, and what is ready to shift. My role is to create the safety for that wisdom to emerge and be honored. <\/p>\n Because of this, my work transforms everything, not just intimacy. <\/span> <\/span>A woman came to me because in the bedroom she was always saying “yes” while her body was screaming “no.” We weren’t working on her relationship. We were working on HOW the “no” felt in her body. How it sounded out loud. How she stayed straight while saying it. <\/span> <\/span>Three weeks later, she called. “I told my boss that I was no longer tackling that extra project. For the first time in my career. I felt the same thing in my gut as I did in our sessions – and this time I could say it. <\/span><\/p>\n Because intimacy is not separate from life.
