STUDIO ES
Terms and conditions
Updated 22 June 2026
1. General provisions
In Brief:
- Studio ES offers holistic well-being and personal development services
- Studio ES is not a medical or psychiatric practice
- Results vary by individual, depend on the level of commitment of the customer
1.1 Scope of Services
Studio ES provides personal well-being and holistic development services focused on personal growth, bodily awareness and intimate development. The offering of Studio ES encompasses both individual and group-based services, in private and public settings, including but not limited to sessions, workshops, trajectories, intensives and events, whether or not in collaboration with guest facilitators. The exact nature and composition of the services offered are described in the service-specific information provided to the client prior to commencement. The services provided by Studio ES are exclusively aimed at personal development and well-being, and do not fall within any recognised medical, psychotherapeutic or paramedical professional category.
1.2 Disclaimer
The terminology used in our services, including terms such as “healing” and “therapy”, refers exclusively to non-medical personal development processes and makes no reference whatsoever to recognised medical or psychiatric practices. None of the services offered constitutes or replaces any form of medical treatment or recognised psychotherapy. The services and trajectories offered by Studio ES constitute transformative personal development processes in which the results experienced vary per individual and are largely dependent on personal engagement and commitment to the process.
Studio ES operates from a vision of “conscious intimacy” as a broad human domain encompassing embodiment, connection, self-knowledge and personal growth. Sexuality is regarded within this framework as one possible dimension of intimacy — not as a synonym for it, nor as the primary purpose of the services offered. Where sexual themes arise, this always occurs within a framework of awareness, mutual consent and professional guidance.
1.3 Service Provider
All services are provided by Commanditaire Vennootschap Studio ES, Flemish KBO number 1030.251.153, with registered office at Willem Wenemaerstraat 42, 9000 Ghent, Belgium, operating under Belgian law. Any reference to “I” or “we” in marketing materials or service documentation refers to Studio ES as a professional entity.
2. Safety and health
In Brief:
- You must be healthy to participate to any services
- No alcohol or drugs allowed
- Follow all safety instructions
- Tell us about health changes
2.1 Health Requirements
The customer declares and warrants that they are in full physical and psychological health when participating in any service provided by Studio ES. Customers utilizing services on a regular basis are obligated to inform Studio ES about any change to their physical or psychological health. The minimum age requirement for all services is 18 years. Any participation with reduced health conditions is entirely at the customer’s own risk.
2.2 Safety Policy
Studio ES maintains a strict no alcohol and no drugs policy during all services, including all public and private workshops. Any customer in a visible state of intoxication shall be denied access to the services they booked for safety reasons, without relieving said customer of their obligation to pay the full price of their booking or ticket. Customers must strictly adhere to all provided safety instructions at all times.
2.3 Personal Boundaries
All services are provided with utmost respect for personal boundaries. Customers maintain the right to pause or stop any service if they experience discomfort. Clear communication regarding personal boundaries is both encouraged and required throughout all services.
3. Liability and Responsibilities
In Brief:
- Deep emotional or physical reactions may happen during or after services
- We’re not liable for personal reactions or any damage
- You must follow all safety rules
- Report any concerns immediately
3.1 Liability Limitations
The customer acknowledges that many services involve deeply personal topics and that a variety of emotional and physical reactions to addressing these topics may occur during or after receiving the services. While Studio ES may be contacted for receiving support after services within reason, Studio ES shall not be held liable for any:
- Damage to the customer’s property
- Physical injuries
- Changes to health or mental state
- Emotional reactions during or after services
3.2 Customer responsibilities
The customer assumes responsibility for their active participation in all services provided by Studio ES. This responsibility encompasses following all safety instructions provided before and during the services. The customer acknowledges their obligation to provide complete and accurate information about their health status and to promptly inform Studio ES of any changes that might affect the safe delivery of services.
During the provision of services, the customer agrees to communicate openly with Studio ES about any discomfort, concerns, or questions that may arise. This communication is essential for ensuring both the safety and effectiveness of the services provided. The customer further agrees to treat the facilities and equipment of Studio ES with appropriate care and respect.
4. Booking and Cancellation Policy
In Brief:
- For individual services:
- cancellations must be communicated at least 7 calendar days in advance
- within this period, each situation is assessed individually
- early termination of a bundled trajectory constitutes a breach of contract
- For public workshops:
- tickets are non-refundable and fall outside the statutory right of withdrawal
4.1 Individual Services and Private Workshops
Studio ES values the time and commitment of both our clients and service providers. The cancellation policy reflects this mutual respect.
Cancellations or modifications to a booking must be communicated to Studio ES at least 7 calendar days prior to the scheduled appointment, by phone or via WhatsApp. Where notice is given in time, the booking shall be rescheduled to a later date at no cost, or — where applicable — refunded in accordance with Article 5.
Where notice is given within 7 calendar days of the scheduled appointment, Studio ES reserves the right to invoice the booked session in full, or to deduct it from the ongoing trajectory, regardless of whether the session took place. Studio ES shall assess such situations individually and at its sole discretion, taking into account the nature and circumstances of the cancellation. A decision not to charge a session in exceptional circumstances shall not constitute a precedent for future situations.
In situations where Studio ES must cancel due to force majeure, including service provider illness, the booking shall be rescheduled to the earliest available date suitable for the client, at no additional cost.
For personal services and trajectories taken out by private clients, the statutory withdrawal period commences on the earliest of the following moments: receipt of an invoice, written acceptance of a proposal, or booking of the first session. By booking a first session within this period, the client expressly requests immediate commencement of the service prior to the expiry of the withdrawal period. If the client attends the booked session and it effectively commences, the client irrevocably waives their statutory right of withdrawal with respect to the entire agreement, even if the statutory period has not yet expired at that time. This waiver takes effect from the moment of the first physical service delivery.
For services consumed in the context of a professional or commercial activity, no statutory right of withdrawal applies. A paid invoice constitutes confirmation of acceptance of the proposal and creates a binding agreement.
4.2 Bundled Trajectories
Each bundled trajectory has an agreed duration, established in writing at the outset, expressed in both a number of calendar months and a number of sessions. The client undertakes to participate actively in the trajectory and not to allow more than 6 weeks to elapse between two consecutive sessions. Early termination of a bundled trajectory shall be considered a breach of contract.
In the event of breach of contract, the elapsed trajectory duration shall be calculated in calendar months from the date of the first session to the date of the written notice of termination, rounded up to the nearest full calendar month.
The financial consequences of early termination are determined as follows:
- If, at the time of early termination, more than 50% of the agreed trajectory duration in calendar months has elapsed, the full remaining investment shall be due to Studio ES as a lump-sum compensation. No refund will be issued.
- If, at the time of early termination, 50% or less of the agreed trajectory duration in calendar months has elapsed, the remaining balance shall be calculated on a pro-rata basis, proportional to the elapsed calendar months relative to the total agreed trajectory duration. A lump-sum compensation of €400 shall be deducted from this remaining balance. The resulting amount shall be refunded to the client.
Any discounts or benefits included in the bundled offer shall be forfeited in both cases upon early termination. If the calculation results in a negative value, the agreement shall be terminated without any payments being due in either direction.
4.3 Public Workshops and Activities
Studio ES organises public workshops and activities with a pre-determined date and location. In accordance with applicable European consumer legislation, tickets for such events are not subject to a right of withdrawal, regardless of the time of purchase. Tickets are non-refundable after purchase, regardless of whether Studio ES was notified of the participant’s absence in advance.
In the event of non-attendance without prior notice, the ticket shall lapse without entitlement to a refund or alternative participation. In cases of demonstrable medical emergency or force majeure, Studio ES may, at its sole discretion and following individual assessment, convert the ticket into a voucher equal in value to the ticket price, valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash but may be transferred to another person.
In situations where Studio ES is required to cancel the event due to force majeure, participants shall be informed as soon as possible and tickets shall be fully refunded or converted, at the participant’s choice, into a ticket for an alternative event or a voucher.
5. Payment conditions
In Brief:
- Payment exclusively via bank transfer or contactless card payment
- Instalment payment available for longer trajectories
- Tickets for public activities via external vendors
5.1 Payment Methods and Processing
5.2 Special Payment Arrangements
For more extensive trajectories, Studio ES offers flexible payment arrangements. Clients may choose to pay in one or two instalments, subject to prior agreement. Upon booking a bundled trajectory, clients receive an invoice that must be paid in full prior to the commencement of the first session, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
For public workshops and activities, ticket sales are generally handled through specialised external ticket vendors. In these cases, payment processing follows the specific policies and procedures of the designated ticket vendor.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
In Brief:
- Your data is protected by GDPR
- We keep your information confidential
- Your consent needed for any sharing
- You control your data
- Full privacy declaration available
6.1 Personal Data Protection
Studio ES processes all personal data in strict accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Belgian privacy laws. The collection and processing of personal information serve exclusively the purposes of service provision and essential communication. Studio ES maintains a strict policy against sharing personal data with third parties, except where required by law or with the explicit consent of the customer. The full Studio ES privacy declaration may be read here.
6.2 Confidentiality and Professional Secrecy
All information shared during sessions, workshops, or other interactions with Studio ES remains strictly confidential. This confidentiality extends to all personal, emotional, and circumstantial information disclosed during service provision. Any documentation of sessions or workshops requires explicit customer consent. Studio ES maintains professional secrecy regarding all personal information and circumstances learned during service provision.
7. Image and Consent Policy
In Brief:
- Photo and video recordings may be made during public workshops for documentation and marketing purposes
- Participants may indicate at any time that they do not wish to appear on camera
- no recordings are ever made during personal services
7.1 Recordings During Public Workshops
During public workshops and events organised by Studio ES, photo and video recordings may be made for documentation and marketing purposes. Participants are always informed of this in advance, whereby Studio ES fulfils its duty to inform and establishes a legally valid basis for capturing image material. Anyone who does not wish to appear on camera may make this known to the facilitator at any time — before or during the event. Studio ES shall respect this request without requiring further explanation.
7.2 Personal Services
During personal services — including individual sessions, couples sessions and personal trajectories — no photo or video recordings are made by Studio ES. Any recordings in this context require the explicit, prior and written consent of all parties involved.
7.3 Distribution by Participants
Participants are most welcome to share their personal experiences with Studio ES afterwards on social media and other channels. However, the making of photo or video recordings during Studio ES workshops and events is not intended. On occasions where this does occur — for example during breaks — participants must always ensure that no other attendees are captured in a recognisable manner without their explicit consent. Image material in which other participants or facilitators are recognisable may under no circumstances be shared on social media or other public channels without the prior, explicit consent of all persons involved.
Unlike the structured and pre-announced approach of Studio ES as described in Article 7.1, recordings made by participants lack this legal basis where consent has not been obtained. The participant acknowledges that violation of this provision constitutes an infringement of the personal privacy of the persons involved and may give rise to civil liability. Studio ES cannot be held liable for recordings made by participants amongst themselves or the distribution thereof.
8. Collaborative Events and Co-facilitation
In Brief:
- Studio ES acts as main organiser or as content contributor at externally organised events
- Where co-facilitation occurs under Studio ES’s own organisation, a joint liability form may be required which participants must sign
- Where events are organised by third parties, organisational responsiblility lies with the external organiser.
8.1 Role of Studio ES at Collaborative Events
Studio ES may act in two capacities at collaborative events: as main organiser of an event involving guest facilitators or co-facilitators, or as content contributor within an event of which a third party is the main organiser. The specific role of Studio ES is always determined and communicated to participants in advance.
8.2 Events Organised by Studio ES
Where Studio ES acts as main organiser of an event involving guest facilitators or co-facilitators, it may be required that participants sign a joint liability form prior to the event. This form governs the distribution of responsibility between all parties involved and serves as mutual indemnification. Participation in such events is only possible following the signing of this form.
8.3 Events Organised by Third Parties
Where Studio ES participates as content contributor at an event of which a third party is the main organiser, the overall organisational and legal responsibility for that event rests with that third party. In that capacity, Studio ES bears content responsibility exclusively for the parts delivered by Studio ES.
9. Workshop- and Service-Specific Terms
In Brief:
- Adults only (18+)
- Following the safety briefing mandatory
- Services with tantra or conscious kink elements may contain content of a sexual nature or be experienced as such
- Participation in exercises is always optional
- Explicit and ongoing consent required
- Voluntary participation in exercises is at own risk
9.1 Participation and Safety
Studio ES designs all services to provide safe, conscious experiences for adult participants. Every participant must be at least 18 years of age at the time of participation. Participation in services with a diminished health condition is at the participant’s own risk and responsibility.
All services introduce working methods and techniques that are safe for use by adults following correct instruction. Every session or workshop begins where necessary with a comprehensive safety briefing, and Studio ES provides ongoing guidance throughout the full duration of the service. Although Studio ES maintains the highest safety standards, no responsibility can be accepted for personal injury or material damage resulting from failure to comply with the safety instructions provided.
9.2 Content Warning and Consent
Studio ES maintains full transparency with regard to the content of services in which tantra or conscious kink elements are present. Both frameworks may contain content of a sexual nature, or which may be experienced as sexual by some participants — even where this is not the primary intention of the service.
By participating in services with tantra or conscious kink elements, participants acknowledge and accept that:
- the topics discussed or explored may be of a sexual nature, or may be experienced as such;
- actions that may be interpreted as sensual or sexual may be demonstrated or practised;
- nudity may be present.
Participation implies consent that the conscious exploration of these topics does not constitute an infringement of personal sensitivities or boundaries that were not communicated in advance. Participants are expressly encouraged to communicate any objections or boundaries to the facilitator prior to the commencement of the service.
It is expressly agreed that sexual penetration in any form whatsoever is strictly prohibited during all services of Studio ES.
Participation in demonstrations or interactive exercises remains fully optional at all times and requires the explicit, ongoing consent of all parties involved. Studio ES facilitators actively monitor and respect the personal boundaries of all participants throughout the full duration of the service.
9.3 Indemnification and Personal Responsibility for Participation
By voluntarily participating in exercises, demonstrations or practical working methods within a service of Studio ES, the participant expressly accepts the inherent risks associated with such participation, and indemnifies Studio ES, its representatives and facilitators against all liability for physical injury, psychological reactions or damage to property arising therefrom.
This indemnification applies in particular where damage or injury results wholly or partially from one or more of the following circumstances:
- the participant failed to adequately inform themselves prior to the service regarding the nature, content or possible effects of the working methods offered;
- the participant failed to comply fully with the safety instructions provided;
- the participant neglected to ask questions regarding any uncertainties about the execution or safety guidelines, despite having been given the opportunity to do so.
Studio ES always provides the opportunity to ask questions before and during every service. Failure to make use of this opportunity releases Studio ES from all responsibility for consequences that could have been avoided had sufficient information been provided.
This indemnification does not affect the obligation of Studio ES to implement reasonable safety measures and to provide professional guidance throughout all services.
